As a copywriter, I often work with high-priced consultants who are using (expensive) offline marketing, and who aren’t Web-savvy. These folks are wary of that strange new animal called a “blog”. They have an image to protect, and to them a blog seems unprofessional.
“You don’t have to call it a blog. A blog is a just Web site in a special format that’s easy for you to manage. If you can use a word processor, you can manage your own blog-site.” I assure them. “You can call your site anything you like. No one will know you’re using a blogging platform to create the site.” I’ve had this conversation many times.
