From “Ebay looks to cash in on blogs”:
“Our approach would be to develop new tools that we can turn over to bloggers, so they can define the natural shape of the market place on their own, that is how Ebay originally developed,” Doug McCallum, UK managing director of Ebay, said in an interview.
This sounds promising, but eBay’s new tools are still in development. In the meantime, there’s a new monetizing option that you can use later this week. The story also mentions that MeCommerce is broadening its ecommerce offering for bloggers via a product-serving technology, available later this week, and giving bloggers a 50/ 50 split on revenues.
