If you’re a blogger, you’ll spend a lot of time testing blogging tools. My favourite blogging combo is ecto (for the Mac), combined with the TextMate text editor.
I’ve tried several browser-based blogging tools, and haven’t been sufficiently impressed to use them much.
Enter Flock. I downloaded it weeks ago, and finally started to test its blogging features.
WOW!
Click the “blog” icon, and an editor opens. Just drag and drop text, images, and URLs right into the editor, then press the Publish button — and your latest blog post is published. (Of course, you do need to set up your blog’s username and password, but as for the other details — the kind of blog, and other technical data, Flock does it for you automatically.)
Oh, and by the way — Flock is Mozilla-based, and it’s free. It’s beta, but I’ve only encountered a couple of problems in several days of intensive-use.
