I had a couple of enquiries over the weekend about how to get your first blogging job.
It’s easy. There’s no doubt that the jobs are out there. BUT… you’ve really got to invest in your own blog first. Your own blog is your portfolio; you can’t skip this vital step. (Well, I guess you can, but you’ll be able to ask for more money if you don’t.)
You won’t need to spend the next six months blogging however. 
Just create a few posts – anywhere from five to ten. Then you’ve got something to show a prospective employer.
