A blog is a money gold mine
I strongly believe that if you’re reasonably intelligent (smart enough to hold down a job), you can turn blogging into a career and/ or a business. In my ebook I tell the story of how I go to the little local library in my Sydney suburb and look at all the job hunters on the computer – heh, they could be blogging. If they blogged every day, they’d soon have enough cash to buy a computer and wouldn’t need a job.
So how do you make money blogging? I make money by 1) selling products like my blogging and writing ebooks, and 2) copywriting. My blogs are advertisements for my writing skills. The blogs work too well, as ads, because I get constant requests to blog for others. However I’ve given up blogging for anyone else except myself, because I own several blogs that I need to update, and I can only handle a certain amount of blogging in my writing day. Of course, I still write copy (sales letters etc) for others.
