Over the past year or so, there’s been considerable brouhaha in the blogosphere about bloggers being paid to review products.
I’ve ignored the noise. After all, I’m a tech magazine software reviewer, with a monthly column in NetGuide, so reviewing is a non-story for me.
However, I’m intrigued by ReviewMe, a startup.
Opportunity: Marketers want to reach those who read blogs.
Problem: Many blog readers ignore ads. (Either they’re banner blind, or they’re getting the feed.)
Solution: Make the “ads†into content.
Sounds fine to me. It’ll be interesting to see how this site/ idea develops.
