The idea of “get rich quick” spam blogs is taking over the Internet marketing world again.
I’ve had several queries from readers about software scripts which let you create thousands of splogs (spam blogs). Here’s my response. Just a few things to consider.
Spam blogs: a waste of time and energy
You won’t get rich by developing thousands or hundreds of thousands of spam blogs. You’ll get tired, angry, and very disappointed.
The idea of automated blogs serviced by RSS scrapers is nothing new. It’s been around for years, and it resurfaces regularly, just like the any craze.
Here’s the thing: it doesn’t work. The search engines trash your blogs as quickly as you create them. You’re like a mouse scurrying on a wheel, going faster and faster and heading nowhere.
Think I’m joking? Ask any pro blogger who’s been blogging for two years or more. We’ve seen the splog craze come and go. It’s nothing new. It’s a con.
Create real blogs: put your heart into them. Anything you put your heart into will succeed online. Splogs can’t and won’t.
