Your blogging Web site or blog gets you blog jobs

One of the easiest ways to get a steady stream of blog jobs is to create your own blogging Web site and/ or blog.

Your online presence establishes you as a blogger – it’s your sales agent and works for you right around the clock, every day of the year. It means you don’t need to go hunting for blog jobs, they come to you.

My copywriting Web site gets me writing gigs, as does my Creativity Factory Blog; the huge benefit is that the new clients who find me online tend to be quality clients. They know something of me, because they’ve read my sites.

Start your presence small, and grow

The most common object to developing a site/ blog I hear is that it takes too long, or costs too much money.

The time you spend depends on you. How long does it take you to write 250 words? A simple one-page site is a start. Let it grow organically.

And as for cost – you can do it yourself. My ebook package “Super-Fast Money-Making Web Sites For Writers: Join The Web-Publishing Bonanza” shows you how to create sites, essentially for free.

The effect of your online presence is cumulative. As with any blog, the longer the content is online, and the more original, link-worthy and authoritative content you have, the more traffic you’ll get.

Start now, create a basic site, and have people approach you for blogging gigs.
