Love Blogger? I do too. I created my first blogs on Blogger, way back when, before Google bought Blogger.
Blogger is great for blogging newbies, and I recommend the platform… BUT… do realize that your Blogger blogs may vanish, and all your hard work with them.
Reasons To Not Blog Using Blogger or Blogspot reports:

Yes, unfortunately Google may suddenly squish your blog, and there’s nothing you can do about it.
So what can you do to avoid this fate if your blog’s on Blogger, and you don’t want to change platforms?
Two words: back up.
Back up your blog regularly – Blogger shows you how. With a current backup, if your Blogger blog should vanish, you can upload your blog into a WordPress installation and be back blogging in half an hour.
If you’re really spooked at the idea of losing your blog, move it to WordPress; however, many people use Blogger blogs without a hassle.
So if you’ve never backed up your Blogger blog, do it NOW.
