According to Technorati, the search engine for blogs, and the New York Times, which ran an article called “Blogs Falling in an Empty Forest” in June 2009, 95 per cent of the millions of blogs created each year are abandoned.
There are many reasons for this. Would-be bloggers get inspired, but since they don’t get instant recognition and income, they forget their blogs. Indeed, most bloggers just make a single post.
Most bloggers don’t have a method which works. (Indeed, some start blogging without any method at all…)
