I’m a huge fan of the WordPress blogging platform (this is a WP blog). Mind you, I love the Typepad and Blogger platforms too: if you’re a new blogger, TP and Blogger give you a fast-start into the world of blogs.
The challenge with WordPress is that there’s a slight learning curve. For me, it was installing WP onto my angelabooth.com site. I had to install WP manually, because GoDaddy doesn’t offer an auto-install. (BTW, if you get into serious career blogging, or kick off a blogging entrepreneurial venture, find a Web host with auto-install of scripts like WordPress — it will make your life much easier. DreamHost, where I host a lot of my domains, has auto-install, AND auto-update. So my all my DreamHost WP blogs are installed at a click.)
You’re very lucky, because for you the WordPress learning curve has been shortened. Terry Zulit of Your Financial Freedom offers great Wordpress Video Tutorials. I watched the feed-installing video, and learned something new.
Enjoy Terry’s videos — and if you’re not ready for WordPress yet, bookmark them for when you are. They are VERY good.
